Don't miss Luciterra's full-length theatrical show, (i·m)position

Posted by Bass Coast on

Luciterra Dance Company is a Bass Coast Festival crowd favourite, performing on the main stage for many years. We are proud to be a Presenting Partner for (i·m)position, Luciterra's full-length theatrical dance show, for a 4 show run at Vancouver's Cultch Theatre, starting Wednesday, May 24. Get tickets now.

Simultaneously “I am position” and “imposition”, Luciterra Dance Company’s newest production is a theatrical story of love, conflict, aggression and sensuality. With a cast of 10 dancers, this award-winning show takes the audience on a journey through tensions of connection/disconnection in contemporary society, and the resulting relationship with the body. Set in a distant galaxy where all communication happens through movement, (i·m)position's retro-futurism aesthetic is a nod to old-school science fiction. Luciterra’s fresh new work continues to push edges, exploring deep intrinsic themes, while maintaining their playful and entertaining signature style.

Catch Bass Coast's very own Ruhammah Buchanan interviewing Luciterra at a special extended artist talkback Thursday, May 25.
