Giving Tuesday with Bass Coast

On this Giving Tuesday, Bass Coast is donating $26,000 to the Nicola Valley Food Bank in Merritt, BC. Bass Coast has compiled a list of suggested non-profit organizations that align with Bass Coast's values below. 

Contributions of any size are appreciated. 

 

Nicola Valley Food Bank

The Nicola Valley Food Bank is the primary food bank in Merritt, BC. This volunteer-run organization explores innovative ways to assist those on lower incomes in the Nicola Valley with the challenges of accessing food. The Nicola Valley Food Bank assists approximately 850 people per month.

The Indian Residential School Society assists First Nations Peoples in British Columbia to recognize and be holistically empowered from the primary and generational effect of the Residential Schools by supporting research, education, awareness, partnerships and advocating for justice and healing.

Good Night Out Vancouver

Good Night Out is a BC based non profit society committed to building community capacity to prevent and respond to sexual harassment and sexual assault in all sectors, with a focus on hospitality, music, arts and nightlife. Good Night Out achieves this through education, outreach and advocacy. Donations made on Giving Tuesday will be matched by Good Night Out, up to $10,000.
