Volunteer Application 2025
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Bass Coast.
Bass Coast prides itself in being an inclusive gathering that brings together people from diverse backgrounds and inspires participation and creativity. Volunteering is an opportunity to foster connections, learn new skills and be a valuable part of a creative community. We are excited to collaborate with you.
Volunteers are required to commit:
- 24 hours during the event (3 x 8 hour shifts).
- Scheduled between Thurs. July 10 - Sun. July 13.
or
- 32 hours pre / post event (4 x 8 hour shifts).
- 4 consecutive shifts scheduled between Mon. June 30 - Thurs. July 10 or Mon. July 14 - Fri. July 18 depending on your availability.
Volunteers are required to pay a deposit which will be refunded after the festival when shifts have been successfully completed. All volunteers must also pay a non-refundable administration fee of $61.93 that will cover:
- Bass Coast volunteer t-shirt
- One dinner on the day of each shift worked
As a volunteer, you'll have access to the festival either one day before your first scheduled shift or on Thursday, July 10—whichever is earlier. You'll also receive camping accommodations and an environmental vehicle pass.
To be considered, you must submit both your application and pay the volunteer deposit (in full or begin a payment plan) for your application to be considered.
Returning Volunteers
If you are a returning volunteer, do not fill out the application below. Please check your email (junk / spam folders) for the Returning Volunteer Application form sent from volunteer@basscoast.ca. If you have not received it. If you have not received it, email us at the same address, and we’ll resend it.
International Volunteers
Only applicants with Canadian Citizenship or those legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered. If you are an international applicant you must have a Working Holiday Visa currently in place.
COVID-19 WORKPLACE POLICY
Bass Coast Festival will continue to operate in accordance with provincial and local health guidelines and recommendations. If you see others wearing masks, please do not infringe on their right to do so.
Please Note:
- You will leave the Bass Coast website to complete the application form.
- You must complete each of the sections before submitting.
- Applications are open until filled and require a paid deposit or an active payment plan to be considered.
- Processing times may vary.
- If you have volunteered at Bass Coast Festival in a previous year, do not fill out the application above. You should have received a Returning Volunteer Application by email, if you didn’t receive one please contact volunteer@basscoast.ca
