What You Get
Festival Access
Access from one day before your first shift or from Thursday July 9 - whichever is earlier. Stay through the whole festival.
Camping + Vehicle Pass
Camping on site is included, plus an environmental vehicle pass so you can get yourself and your gear to the festival.
Exclusive Volunteer Tee
Every volunteer receives an exclusive Bass Coast volunteer t-shirt. Your official look for being part of the crew that makes everything happen.
Dinner Every Shift
You'll be fed. One dinner on the day of each shift worked. Because a well-fed crew is a happy crew.
Volunteers choose one of two shift tracks. All shifts are 8 hours.
Option A — During the Festival
24 hours — 3 shifts of 8 hours
Scheduled between Thurs. July 9 – Sun. July 12
Option B — Pre or Post Festival
32 hours — 4 consecutive shifts of 8 hours
Scheduled between Mon. June 29 – Thurs. July 9
or Mon. July 13 – Fri. July 17 depending on availability.
The Deposit
A single payment of $527.57 is required when you apply. This is made up of a fully refundable deposit of $459.57 and a non-refundable administration fee of $68.
The $459.57 deposit is returned to you after the festival once all your shifts have been successfully completed. The $68 admin fee covers your volunteer t-shirt and one dinner on each shift day.
A payment plan is available — your application is considered once you've started the plan.
Step Up
Specialized role for volunteers ready to take on more responsibility. This comes with deeper involvement in festival operations and a more hands-on contribution to how Bass Coast comes together.

Market Vending Manager Assistant
Support the Market Vending Manager in coordinating vendor set-up, operations, and tear-down. This role helps ensure vendors have a smooth and positive experience while maintaining site standards.

Recording Team
The Recording team is responsible for planning, implementing, and operating the recording systems at Bass Coast Festival.
As a team of three you will be responsible to record approximately 8-10 sets each over the course of the weekend. Artist sets are to be shared publicly and free of charge on Bass Coast’s online platforms. The role spans pre-show review and acquiring of equipment, on-site recording, and remote file management and mastering.

International Applicants
Only applicants with Canadian Citizenship or those legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered.
International applicants must have a Working Holiday Visa currently in place at the time of application.
