A Look Back at the Bass Coast Mix Series

Bass Coast's mix series has hosted a number of incredible DJs across multiple genres. Here's a look back at a few mixes you may have missed.

Wax Romeo's 2014 mix series entry starts off with Chez Damier's timeless track Forever Monna and doesn't let up from there. There's no better way to start your week off than with an hour of uplifting house.

For those seeking something slightly more chilled out Michael Red's morning set from Bass Coast 2013 is a must listen. This set still sounds fresh six years after it was recorded, a testament to Red's selection prowess.

Joe Nice is a legend of the dubstep world and this mix from Bass Coast 2017 shows him at his best. An hour and a half of unrelenting dubplate pressure, put your hoods up for this one.

Mandai combines dancehall from multiple eras to great effect in this 2014 mix. Things culminate with Popcaan's modern classic "Everything is Nice", a fitting end to this laid back excursion.

Keep an eye out for future installments of the Bass Coast Mix Series.
