Addison Groove combines all the right flavours of Techno, Electro, Jungle & Juke, stripped down drum beats and acid basslines to carve a unique and infectious groove, giving a unique and versatile approach to many genres of underground music.
It's a rare feat for an artist to garner respect in one genre, let alone across most of underground electronic music. Bristol-based producer Tony Williams AKA Addison Groove (formerly known as Headhunter), managed to do so. A Dubstep mainstay active since 2006, he released a multitude of singles for Tempa as well as an album (Nomad) for the label in 2008.
2010 marked his first release (Footcrab / Dumbsh*t) as Addison Groove on Loefah's label Swamp 81 and features chopped up samples influenced by the Chicago Juke/Footwork sound. As cited on The Quietus, he played a significant role in introducing this music scene to the U.K. Bass Music continuum and helped solidify the connection between the two, sealing the deal by collaborating with genre pioneer Dj Rashad, featuring on his album Double Cup (Hyperdub). He has also released on Pinch's label Tectonic, 50 Weapons (Modeselektor) and 3024 (Martyn).
Since 2012 Addison Groove has toured nightclubs, festivals and broadcasters such as Boiler Room, Fabric (London), Berghain (Berlin), Keep Hush and Glastonbury. Besides Dubstep, his exploration of the UK Bass scene allowed him to gain interest from mainstream media platforms such as BBC Radio 1, Dazed, Vice Magazine and The Red Bull Music Academy where he was a lecturer. He has also collaborated with Sam Binga and Drum & Bass veteran DJ Die and released on Pretty Weird, Exit, Worst Behaviour, Hessle Audio, Gutterfunk and Dance Trax.

If the first thing you know about Craze is that he's the only solo DJ to win the DMC World Championships 3 times over, prepare to get yourself schooled. From day one, every uphill battle that Craze faced was met with intense adversity; every kick while he was down only served to help him rise up even stronger. You want proof? Fine.
His family fled Nicaragua for the US when he was 3 in the midst of a civil war and suffered through Hurricane Andrew in '92. Craze was a total nerd through his teenage years. But while others would chalk this up to a lifetime of hurt, Craze let it fuels his passion. By the age of 20, Craze had won his first DMC World Championship. Two more consecutive wins later, he was (and remains to this day) the only three-time winner of the world's most respected international DJ competition, the DMC World Championship - earning the attention of Time Magazine who proclaimed him America's Best DJ. From Jamaica to Australia, Japan to Nicaragua, Craze has toured the world over, stunning audiences and DJs alike with his top-notch showmanship and masterfully genre-bending sets.
One of those worldwide treks happened to be Kanye West's 2008 Glow In The Dark Tour, where Craze accompanied West as his stage DJ across the globe. Always evolving, Craze founded Slow Roast Records with Kill The Noise, an imprint of the infamous Fool's Gold Records (A-Trak, Kid Cudi, Danny Brown) in 2010. With two releases in 2012 - the Selekta EP and Deeper with Codes, he didn't slow down and instead in April of 2015, released a 4 track EP with the title track called Baby Gurl featuring a young superstar on the rise named Troyboi. The EP also boasted a bonus track with Miami rap legend Trick Daddy called Bow Down. As if that wasn't enough it was also the year, that he brought us one of the most prolific DJ routine videos to date: New Slaves.
With greatness at the forefront of all Craze does, in 2016 he started a DJ super group with Four Color Zack called 2¢ with the primary goal of creating and presenting the most exciting DJ show on the planet. Since then they have been taking their brand of witty wordplay and impeccable DJ skills to the masses through their mixtapes and live shows which can be summarized as a true tour de force.
This year has already seen the release of his EP entitled K.O.S. Knowledge of Self on Slow Roast Records and his Master Class routine video for Serato, I Got The Juice where he revealed not just his DJ skills, but his comedic chops, which begs the question, is there anything Craze can't do? Always humble and putting the performance above all else, Craze has earned his place as an international ambassador of the art of real djing. So when someone asks you Whatchu know about DJ Craze?, feel free to let them know a thing or two.

Dublin-based techno artist Dylan Fogarty has been at the forefront of his city’s techno revival. Embracing the playful, loop-driven approach of ‘00s techno while weaving in elements of house, garage, and dub. His sound, a rich tapestry of groove, swing, and unadulterated funk, channels the golden era of techno, striking a balance between Stockholm and Napoli while shaping the next generation of the genre in Ireland and beyond.
With releases on Molekül, Frenzy, and RAW, as well as a string of highly regarded self-released projects, aptly titled The Forgotten Loops, D Loops, 16 Bar Shuffle Tools, and more, Fogarty's intent is clearly rooted in the essence of classic techno. His productions are oozing with character and swagger, making him a key figure in the movement back towards the raw energy of the ‘00s loop-driven club sounds.
Despite his growing status, Fogarty remains somewhat of an enigma; he has never given an interview, rarely posts on social media, and often drops new music spontaneously via Bandcamp, embodying the DIY ethos of the ‘90s in both sound and spirit.
With an encyclopedic knowledge of techno, house, and garage that spans decades, Fogarty’s artistry runs far deeper than trends. While much about him remains elusive, one thing is certain: when he plays, standing still is simply not an option.

KiNK
KiNK
Slay Bay
KiNK has become one of house music’s most in demand producers and remixers: his tracks easily stand out in any club night and they are second to none in the most competitive environment electronic music has ever seen. His abilities in finding the ‘sweet spot’ of new machines and even of sounds considered ‘classic’ and to reshape them into totally different beasts would be totally enough to justify the phenomenon. Yet this barely touches the surface of the story.
Arguably the world of dance music has not witnessed anyone else rising so clearly from bottom to top just by the centrifugal force of sheer talent. Being based in Sofia, Bulgaria, without a support network, a campaign or any media hype, his music alone – live and in the studio – created a momentum whose end we have yet to see.
Having met Neville Watson over the internet, he first gained recognition with the duo’s collaborative releases on Amsterdam’s Rush Hour. “Inside Out” and “Full Flight” were huge records in 2008 already, but it was an unassuming video of KiNK tweaking a drum machine at home that landed him a gig at Berlin’s ever emblematic Panorama Bar. By today, he has played the world several times over.
Thus, KiNK’s live sets hold the key to understanding how he creates unparalleled enthusiasm on stage and through his studio output. By now, a guy with a laptop has become the most common sight in a club. Yet the visual discrepancy between the dynamics of sound and the statics of a mouse click has driven most ambitious live acts to sideshow tricks: visuals, LED screens, compensatory dancing – smoke and mirrors. By contrast, KiNK’s live sets simply take the hood off – strictly in terms of sound. A small set up of machines and controllers is all there is, but every knob turned produces an audible result. Often he will pass a machine to the audience and incorporate their input in real time. This happens at mind-boggling speed. Hyperactive, yet holding down grooves to kill for. KiNK’s ability to nail smash beats on the fly, well visibly and audibly, that most people couldn’t program in weeks of studio work – this ‘credibility of sound’ right where it matters is what sparks the love everywhere he visits.

Mike Servito
Mike Servito
The Cabin
Some DJs burst upon the scene like a supernova, fading just as quickly. Others take years, even decades, to make their way—but those are the ones who make the most impact, thanks to a lifetime of accumulated musical wisdom. Mike Servito is a prime example of the latter. His career is one that’s defined by a slow and steady rise to upper ranks of the deejaying realm—and along the way, he’s perfected a jacking style that equal parts house, acid and techno, a sound that pays homage to the past while being very much of-the-moment.
A Detroit-area native, Servito got his early education by tuning into the Electrifying Mojo and the Wizard (Jeff Mill’s radio moniker). By the early ’90s, Servito was primed to try his hand at the deejaying arts, “I was just kind of cocky about it,” he says. “I knew I could do it.” And he was right—in the DJ hotbed of Detroit, internalizing knowledge gleamed from the likes of Mike Huckaby and Claude Young, he kept working at it until he established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Motor City circuit, eventually becoming a member in good standing with the inner circle of Ghostly International.
But Servito felt the need for a change from the sometimes insular environment of Detroit. By the late ’00s, he was living in NYC with no real game plan in place. As it turned out, he didn’t really need one—he soon fell in with the city’s premier techno party, The Bunker, becoming one of its mainstay residents. Around the same time, he was beginning to make his presence known on a global scale, packing dance floors with gigs around the States and around the world. But it was a hometown festival snub in 2014 that really got things going.
Servito had played Movement once before, in 2011. “And between then and 2014,” he recalls, “I had been playing so many Bunker parties, playing so many great gigs and my profile was rising—so I was sure they would book me again.” The invite never came. Instead, he booked himself at every Movement after-party he could, one of which was the annual No Way Back, a legendary throw down hosted by The Bunker New York and Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions label. The set, a riotously sweaty bleeps-and-beats affair, was recorded for posterity; unexpectedly but deservedly, it garnered a nod as the year’s No 1 online Mix of the Year on Resident Advisor.
That was the spark that set Servito’s career aflame, the push that took him to the top. Since then, he’s cemented his status as one of the most respected spinners around, regularly manning the decks at such hallowed halls as Berlin’s Panorama Bar, London’s XOYO and Tokyo’s Contact, not to mention the world’s best festivals—including, of course Movement. And to this day, his approach to deejaying is refreshingly simple: “I really don’t think about it,” he says, “When I’m playing, I just dive in, and I’m OK.” He’s far more than okay—he’s one of the best around.

Paul Woolford

Slay Bay
The essence of rave comes alive in Paul Woolford's music, whether he tackles thundering breakbeats, ecstatic piano house, or spring-loaded techno, with a prolific stream of ebullient, floor-filling house - Apple Music.
Originally from Leeds, Paul Woolford began going to raves during the early 1990s, and eventually became a resident DJ at Back to Basics, a legendary techno night that took place in his home city. He gradually taught himself how to produce tracks, and by the end of the decade, he began releasing tech-house records with Tony Senghore, eventually calling themselves The Wackdaddies. In 2000, Woolford signed to 20:20 Vision as Bobby Peru and began releasing house records infused with funk and electro, making his full-length solo debut with 2002's Death of a Player. He additionally released material under short-lived monikers like Hip Therapist and Skip Donahue, and first used his own name on the Subliminal-issued 2002 release “Without You/Only the Wild.” His mid-2000s output, including records titled “Jack Factory” and “The Jackford Files,” paid homage to classic Chicago house, while the three-part Modernist EP series in 2006 was inspired by Detroit techno.
The Bobby Peru single Erotic Discourse was also released in 2006 and became one of his most widely played tracks. In the same year he won the award for “Best Newcomer” in DJ Mag’s lauded end-of-year awards. Woolford launched his Intimacy label in 2007, with the EP Body Double, and his second Bobby Peru album, The Truth, arrived in 2008. In connection with his popular weekly residency at Ibiza's Space club, he mixed the first disc of the Ministry of Sound-issued We Love Space 08. Another mix, Renaissance: Platform, appeared in 2010, the same year he was voted “Best DJ” in DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards. Woolford collaborated with Psycatront on that year's Cocoon-issued Thunder single, followed by 2011's Stolen, his first release for U.K. bass label Hotflush. He also released well-received records on Planet E (Achilles) and Phonica (Can't Do Without), and reunited with Mat Playford (whom he previously worked with as Snow Monkeys) for a single as Ford Inc, issued by Throne of Blood.
2012 saw the release of Woolford's ambitious double-CD mix The Lab 04, as well as the Pursuit single on Halo Cyan. Woolford also began releasing white label 12s as Special Request in 2012, taking influence from breakbeat hardcore and jungle. Houndstooth signed the project and issued the full-length Soul Music in 2013; its CD edition came with a bonus disc featuring tracks from the earlier singles and remixes, including his notorious mix of Lana Del Rey 's Ride. Woolford 's second Hotflush single, Untitled, became another major club hit, and was picked up by Ultra Records/Sony (with the subtitle Call Out Your Name) in 2014. Hotflush released a pair of remixes of Erotic Discourse, followed by the 2015 single Orbit. As Special Request, Woolford issued the three-part Modern Warfare EP series on XL Recordings.
He continued using the moniker for his more experimental work, including the ambitious, cinematic double album Belief System (2017), as well as his Fabriclive 91 mix. His more club-friendly output was released under his own name, including the piano-heavy Forevermore on Running Back, as well as more spiritually inclined material such as the Aus Music-released Father, Son & Holy Ghost and Heaven & Earth. As Special Request kept pushing jungle and breakbeat to the limits with releases like 2019's Vortex and Zero Fucks, Woolford released some of his most successful mainstream club material under his own name and won both DJ Mag’s “Best Producer” and “Best Album” for Vortex.
He worked with Chicago house diva Kim English on the 2018 FFRR single Hang Up Your Hang Ups and Newcastle singer/songwriter Karen Harding on You Already Know, issued by Positiva in 2019. Since then, the output under both his eponymous Paul Woolford and Special Request aliases has become what could easily be described as at breakneck speed. Between 2023 and 2024 he’s had 34 individual releases including originals and remixes with Allison Goldfrapp, Lewis Thompson and MNEK, Sonny Fodera and Ella Henderson, LF System and Shayan, Aluna, and Novelist, as well as the much-revered Portals four-volume series, and the recent STREET ANTHEMS self-released LP which coalesced at the end of last year.

Experimenting with bass, reggaeton, broken-beat and techno, Surusinghe keeps her mixes fast and unexpecting. Surusinghe's releases to date have been put out by some of the most essential tastemakers in the game — AD 93, Steel City Dance Discs and TraTraTrax amongst others. She's played b2b with a stellar cast of scene-leaders, from HAAi to Bitter Babe and Moktar. The whiplash momentum of her gig schedule has carried her across continents, from Nowadays in New York to Drumsheds in London, Unsound in Krakow to Boiler Room in Naarm. While her sound on this new EP is tooled for the peak time, it's also subtle and supple enough to look beyond obvious ear candy tropes and delve a little deeper into what a dancefloor actually needs.
Surusinghe's duty of care for the rave manifests in everything she does. She co-founded multifaceted platform Drifting to put on seismic club line-ups and revive music-first blog discourse with heavyweight guests such as Bicep. When she's playing on a multi-room bill, she actively works to offer a musical counterpoint to whatever else is happening in the club. Her determination to school the next generation on the value of going out dancing is a driving force in her trajectory as an artist.
Pursuing her passion with integrity while blazing a searing path right into the heart of contemporary techno, Surusinghe sounds stronger than ever on her DH2 debut, leaving you with a four-strong statement you won't forget in a hurry. You can catch her toasting this significant next step through a busy Spring-Summer schedule that takes in DGTL in Amsterdam, Nowadays' infamous Nonstop session in New York, GALA in Peckham, Outlook Origins in Croatia and Dekmantel in the Netherlands.

Michael fills out the rest of the music, beats and atmospheres *all* created from blending & morphing & effecting natural sounds recorded primarily on Tsimka's ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ home territory. Tsimka's voice and drum, and other materials she might play (shells, salal, a rattle, etc.), are also heavily affected and manipulated. Recordings of live improvised dub & soundscape sessions are continuously recycled back into their productions as well, as their sound continues to evolve.
Deep meditative soundscapes and atmospheres, song and energy .. inspired by dub, nature and non-physical life .. with a featured element of ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ language expression & restoration.
Tsimka: vocals, drums, sound objects (shells, salal, rattle,...), live vocal processing
