Bass Coast prides itself in offering a diverse array of musical styles and sounds. Perhaps no artist in the 2018 lineup represents this eclectic spirit more than Los Angeles producer Nosaj Thing. A product of the city’s mythic beat scene, Nosaj Thing blends West Coast Hip-Hop and G-Funk with IDM. He has been a fixture at the legendary club night Low End Theory alongside artists like Flying Lotus and Daedelus. Over the years he has racked up production credits for artists like Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, and Chance the Rapper.
In light of the announcement that Low End Theory will be ending its historic run, it’s safe to say that Nosaj Thing’s music has stood the test of time. His fourth full-length album Parallels was released to critical acclaim in 2017 and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. He will be headlining Bass Coast’s Main Stage on Saturday at 9:45 PM.
